After only two days of school, we already have a mini-break. At first, the idea of no school may seem exciting but after two days of being stuck inside I am about to go crazy! I was looking forward to getting through the beginning of the year diagnostics so that we can get into some fun math and science lessons. I guess we will have a wait a few more days. I was really hoping to be able to go back to school on Friday but unfortunately that didn't happen. As I sit here, I am wondering what you have been spending most of your time doing as Tropical Storm Fay has come by for a visit. Take my poll to see what other people do when they are stuck indoors.

New Beginnings!
Welcome to our new blog! Miss Russell and I hope to keep our families even more up to date about happenings in the class through this site. I also plan to blog a lot from the field in Africa when I visit in September. If you want to know what is going on in our class, check out this blog and use our website at http://www.myteacherpages.com/ for even more helpful tools!
Get ready for an awesome year!
Our theme this year is Around the World in 180 Days! Our grade level is focusing on the continent of Africa! (Convenient, I know! haha! :) )
